At one time, on the pages of Hitech.Expert, we already told you about smartphone models OPPO Reno15 F 5G and Reno15 FS 5G, pre-orders have started on the same day as OPPO Reno15 5G. And now it’s worth talking about the last of the models mentioned in this “three”. So how successful is the new product and why is it worth paying attention to?
Packaging and delivery set
Here everything can be said in the format of some conclusion! For OPPO Reno15 5G, the manufacturer has offered packaging in the same style as for the previously reviewed OPPO Reno15 F 5G and Reno15 FS 5G models; all the individuality in several strips of key technical characteristics. The necessary graphic detailing is further in the photo.
As for the delivery set, we also have a kind of unified "format" - the smartphone itself, a USB-C/USB-A cable, a clip for accessing the SIM card container, plus, of course, warranty and user documentation.
The charger's mains adapter, despite supporting 80W SUPERVOOC, was not included in the box. Apparently, the manufacturer believes that every modern user will definitely have at least one such accessory. By the way, which one do you have? Personally, I've been using it for over a year. 100W adapter Gembird TA-UC-PDQC100LCD-01-BK, and frankly, I'm completely satisfied with it.

Design, materials and build quality
Regarding the design of the OPPO Reno15 5G, it is worth understanding the following “things”. First – this smartphone model is offered in the same colors as the previously reviewed FS 5G, link to the review above. Second – for those who are particularly interested, we have small differences in weight (whole! – one gram) and dimensions. Third and, probably, this is the biggest difference – the edging of the case in the OPPO Reno15 5G is still metal, while in the Reno15 FS 5G it is plastic. Actually, it is the metal on this part of the case that “entails” the need for small and well-organized plastic inserts. The latter are here to enhance the work of the receivers inside. However, as design elements they also look good.
The smartphone feels nice in the hand. What's more, the 197 grams of weight "on board" are not felt by the user at all, even if you talk for an hour. No, it's real, it seems that there is nothing inside the Reno15 5G, although in reality, of course, this is not the case. And although a 6,59-inch smartphone is not about full control of the fingers of the hand holding the terminal (as is the case with any other "smart" phone of this plan), performing many operations is convenient and absolutely comfortable in this way. In the end, according to my personal quality scale, 5 out of 5. Well, 10 out of 10 - who knows how convenient it is.
Ergonomics
Regarding the arrangement of functional elements on the body Reno15G… Frankly speaking, there are minimal differences between the ergonomics of the Reno15 FS 5G and F 5G. They are only in the arrangement of the main camera flash. We already know how the rest of the elements are placed.
Display: number and impression of possibilities
The display on the Reno15 5G is slightly different from the screens on the Reno15 FS 5G and Reno15 F 5G, but I personally cannot call these differences particularly critical - the corresponding numbers are in the characteristics table above.
The “arsenal” of settings is similar to what we saw in the smartphones mentioned above – for a visual overview, follow the links above. A series of illustrations for your reference below.
In addition, the Reno15 5G screen provides first-class viewing angles, even at maximum tilts, and the user will not see any overflows towards white or frankly blue shades.
The automatic light sensor works correctly - appropriate adjustment without complaints from my side. The sensor is also 10 out of 10.
Built-in memory and expandability
Reno15 5G is offered to the user in one version with a built-in memory of 512GB. We will see in the illustrations below which part of the mentioned "disk space" is already "out of the box" for the OS and technical files, and which part is available to the user.
The user will not be able to expand the volume using microSD cards - there is no corresponding slot "on board". There is USB OTG support. You will, of course, also be able to use various cloud services, for example, the same Google Disk.
Battery, autonomy and recharging
OPPO Reno15 5G has a built-in 6500 mAh battery.
The battery life testing was carried out using the “Battery HD” application. The results are below.
As for recharging, here we are talking about support for 80W SUPERVOOC. I have already talked about the technology itself several times in reviews of OPPO smartphones before. As for the declared power, the Gembird adapter mentioned above allowed us to reach this figure. Agree – cool!
Speakers, settings and sound quality
OPPO Reno15 5G has good quality speakers, which are sufficient for both playing content on the street or in the park, and for conversations regardless of the surrounding conditions. I had enough time to try it out personally and believe my experience - the results are pleasantly surprising.

The hardware itself is predicted to be better if you compare it with the equipment of the FS 5G and F 5G models already mentioned many times in this review. In the end, we are talking about the following "things": 8 Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, Adreno 722@1150MHz and 8 GB of RAM.

Cameras
Regarding the OPPO Reno15 5G cameras, here are the following numbers. The main one is an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle module, f/2.2, 116° viewing angle, 5P lens, wide-angle – 50 MP, f/1.8, 79° viewing angle, 5P lens, autofocus support, 2-axis optical stabilization (OIS) support, macro 2 MP, f/2.4, 89° viewing angle, 3P lens; front – 50 MP, f/2.0, 100° viewing angle, 5P lens, autofocus.
It is worth mentioning separately that the entire Reno 15 series has received many interesting AI-based features, including a flash.
I liked the Reno Portrait Engine and the skin tone enhancement algorithm. This duo, so to speak, is able to improve the overall quality of images and preserve the natural texture of the skin.
Another feature worth noting is AI Portrait Glow. In practice, it acts as a kind of digital “assistant” with light, analyzing shots with imperfect lighting and applying sophisticated effects to artistically enhance the image.
Popout is a feature that literally "brings life" to your shots. Try it out when you have the chance - it's worth experimenting with this "arsenal".
