Google's marketing campaign once again demonstrates that the company is betting not only on hardware, but also on the capabilities of artificial intelligence. Gemini is increasingly integrated into the Pixel ecosystem and is likely to become the main advantage of the new smartphone line.
Postponing the Pixel presentation to August also allows Google to enter the market earlier than competitors' traditional fall announcements and draw attention to its own AI ecosystem.
HiTech Expert Take
The appearance of the official teaser marks the end of the rumored design phase of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Google has confirmed the appearance of the smartphone and the date of its presentation, but most of the technical specifications remain the subject of leaks.
This year, the company seems to be focusing less on revolutionary design changes and more on ecosystem development. Gemini AIIt is the software capabilities and integration of artificial intelligence that can become the main argument in competition with other manufacturers of folding smartphones.
